Praise the Lord and welcome to the Truth Ministries!  We are so thankful you stopped by!  Our founding minister, Tommy Ledford, was radically changed by the power of God and has been given a vision to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this world by whatever means God allows!  We at The Truth Ministries are just ordinary Bible believing men and women who are not satisfied with "playing church" and are intent on having the moves of God just like in the Bible.  We have all heard stories of how God "used to move and change people."  Well, we know that God hasn't changed!  We are  unapologetically old fashioned and uphold the KJV as the closest to the original scripture that we can get!  We do our best to hold to the old landmarks as the Word of God commands us and do all that we can in an effort to please the Master! 

We believe that not only are we  baptized to show a good conscience toward God, but as part of the process of the remission of sin.  We believe in sanctification by the Holy Ghost as experienced by the church in the book of Acts.  We believe that the miracles, signs, wonders, healing, deliverance, etc. that were wrought at the hands of the disciples in the book of Acts are still available today for all those who are obedient to the Word of God!

We believe that the Bible is the undefiled Word of God and that it is absolutely true and the standard by which we all must live in order to make heaven our home.
We believe there is one God.  Duet. 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: 5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might..  He must be number one in our lives for He is a jealous God and won't take second place to anyone or anything.  When we allow God to take His rightful place in our lives, everything else will fall into place as it should.

We believe that Jesus is the Messiah that was prophesied throughout the old testament;born in Bethlehem of a virgin, rejected by his own people, preformed miracles, and gave his life for sinners.  He was the spotless lamb...  (Michah 5:2, Matt. 2:5-6, Isaiah 7:14,  Psalm 118:22-23,  Matthew 21:42-43, Isaiah 53:12, Luke 23:32-33,   Isaiah 35:5-6).  Isaiah 53:7 He was oppressed, and he  was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to  the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth  not his mouth. 

We believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven; there is no other means to receive forgiveness of sins except through His blood and faith in Him.  This is the beginning of the salvation process.  He who cometh to God must first believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6.  We believe in holiness and living holy as unto the Lord as the Bible teaches.  The Lord is the same as He has always been and will not change, therefore, we have not changed in that we hold fast to the teachings as given in God's Word.  

We are standing on the Word of God and believing Him for all that we need it this time of trouble in our world.  The Corona virus is nothing the Lord cannot handle!  We believe in the healing power that is available in the powerful name of Jesus and lean on Him for all that we need during this time.  Please let us know if you have needs or prayer requests. We strive to be the hands and feet of Christ in this world today!  We look for ways to be a blessing to all people of all walks of life regardless of race, creed, socioeconomic status, etc. We want to meet the spiritual as well as the physical needs of our communities by teaching Sunday School, having tent meetings, helping in food and clothing banks, ministering to the homeless, assisting in the re-entryprocess of inmates, and any other opportunity that opens up to us.
